Traxxas Telluride 4x4 Review

Alright Ive had the Telluride since december and have used it well. Its sort of an off road, trailing, rock bouncing, and bashing rc. It's performance on the rocks is ok, even better with locked diffs. Upgrading the tires is a big thing that is a must have for vehicle performance. With the stock motor, it hits around 30mph on pavement. It is built off the same Stampede 4x4 chassis although with a more scale stance. This truck is good for beginner rc'ers.

Shown to the left is the Telluride flexing... it is good for an independent suspension truck. It would have been nice if Traxxas put solid axles on this, because this is their try at a scale crawler. At a price of $300, the SCX10 would be a more wise investment for all you crawlers, but if you like everything mixed into one truck, here it is. I primarily use this truck for my mud truck because of its speediness and high power motor. It performs great in mud.

The Traxxas Telluride 4x4 comes in green, orange, blue, and red. It comes stock with plastic driveshafts, but you can upgrade the center shaft to aluminum if wanted. The stock charger, as with any stock charger, takes painfully long. If you get the fast charger it bumps charging time from overnight to 45mins. Always let the battery sit and cool down before charging. There are many aluminum parts available for this model, just buy Stampede 4x4 aluminum parts. Unless you want to widen the stance, the A arms and related parts are different lengths.

The Traxxas Telluride 4x4 comes with all waterproof electronics, so you can play with it in any conditions. Don't fully submerge the motor, that is very risky. That is my review on the Traxxas Telluride 4x4 by Traxxas.
